Club: A group of people organized for a common purpose, especially a group that meets regularly. 

Sisterhood: The relationship between sisters; the feeling of kinship with and closeness to a group of women or all women; an association, society, or community of women linked by a common interest, religion, or trade.

A message from a girl on fire

It is always exciting to share how this club came into existence in 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. In 2015 I started the Durham, NC chapter with a small diverse group of women from different ethnicities, religions, political affiliations, and personal beliefs, but we all wanted one thing; to make a difference. 

None of us had millions or even thousands of dollars to do all the big things we wanted to do to change the world, but what we did have was even greater, the power of one. Unity and love are all we need to impact the people around us. We must be intentional and share it every day with everyone we can! 

A fire has many purposes; heat, light and it's even used to signal for help. If we let F.I.R.E. inspire us to come together in love and unity for our communities, we provide heat, light, and strength. Now, an unstoppable force, we make this world a better place one person at a time! Just think about it...how can you put out a fire if it keeps catching? The answer is, you can't!
